Be That Very Change - Nasvin Jeganathan

From times of prosperity, towards times of sorrow, from times of comfort in the sunshine, towards times of anguish in the shadows, from times of an unexplored future, towards the prolonging the death of our home

Polar bears who ascend amidst the sea levels and plunge along with the melting glaciers

A lustrous green forest with an abundance of kaleidoscopic trees resembling the whiff of pine-needles

Till a wasteland full of the haunting remains of enduring knick-knacks of twigs and the howls of wounded animals with their prolonging groans until their very last yelp

Lungs filled with fresh smoke until our very last gasp for unbreathable air

Water bottles and plastic bags drifting down an everlasting winding maze of overflowing microplastics, while marine animals lying asleep upon the sobbing water permanently

How do we create constant change regarding our climate crisis?

A vampire load, drawing energy from idle pray, a simple mend by unplugging the prey’s misery Windmills transform the wind into energy, like how human-kind must use renewable resources to transform our world into a better place

In the era of wasteful efficiency, we must discharge the use of incandescent light bulbs, but replace them with LED light bulbs to light the way for a better future

When a person is gloomy and discouraged from the pouring rain outside, another sees the beauty and hope in a rainbow during the rainfall

If we do not change our ways, the Earth will be wiped out by an asteroid all over again

Create change by defying the undefiable set-systems

Create change by learning and questioning what is told

Create change within your own household

Create change by taking action and not staying silent to those who try to shush you

Create change by fighting for what you believe in and not surrendering to those you stand in your way

Create change by being that very change
