ABOUT US

Our goal is to help homeless people by providing them with essential items (ex. jackets, socks, toiletries, food vouches for grocery stores, etc.) We also want to display how poetry has the power to create social change. Poetry is a source of diversity through different ways of thinking and makes us look at problems differently. Even a few words have the power to change the world. Poetry through the eyes of the community is varied and can connect to people differently. This can be used in our community to help people express themselves, be used as a therapeutic technique to bring imperturbable feelings and inner-composition, and carry the truth against social injustices.
